Never give up hope…
All the girls around the world now know that they can break glass ceilings, achieve what looks like to be the impossible.
All the mothers now know that like Shyamala Gopalan Harris, that if we believe in our girls and deeply in the ideals of what America stands for, a moment like becoming the first female of color Vice President Elect is possible.
All the black and brown girls can now see themselves reflected in someone else who knocked down walls, fought against oppression and battled through the obstacles while doing it on her own terms and maintaining her poise, humility, dignity and integrity
Our children are the future
Kamala Harris will teach them well and let them lead the way
She will show them all the beauty they possess inside…
My soul sang with elation, pride and gratitude as Vice President-elect Kamala Harris addressed the nation last night.
“While I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last.
Because every little girl watching tonight sees this is a country of possibilities. And to the children of our country, regardless of your gender, our country has sent you a clear message, dream with ambition.”
Anything is possible when you dare to dream, you believe in the journey of hard work, determination, and fairness. President-elect Biden “had the audacity to choose a woman of color” as his VP and partner. We are so glad and proud that he did!
A big bravo to all the people who voted to demonstrate that all glass ceilings can be shattered!
AND a big thank you to Ms. Stacey Abrams who also believes in the American dream and helped us all to use our voices to vote for TRUTH and UNITY.
